This is Steph! I could go on and on about all the wonderful things about her, but I don’t want you to get sick of us already. So here she is, in her own words:

  1. What are three interesting facts about you?
    • I’m a morning person and a night owl – I have the best of both worlds
    • I love watching Judge Judy, ha!
    • I’ve always known I was gay, but I didn’t come to terms with it until I was 30.
  1. What’s the best way to start the day?
    • My first thought in the morning is, how can I make Britt’s day better? This started when I first started dating her. It’s automatic really. Seeing her smile is the best way I start off my day. In our vows I said I would be her daily barista, to this day the first thing I do in the morning is make us coffee. As I drop hers off I sneak a kiss……and that my friends is truly the best way to start my day.
  1. What’s your claim to fame?
    • Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better!!!
  1. What was the best book that you’ve ever read?
    • Without question, The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy.

  2. What are you absolutely determined to do?
    • Reach every goal I set for myself. The beauty is there is no time limit and as soon as I reach one goal, I start to achieve another one. The next goal on the list is to be the best parent for my children.

  3. What are some small things that make your day better?
    • My wife’s smile
    • A beautiful sunny day at the cottage
    • Seeing kindness outweigh hate/ignorance
    • Lexy and puppy videos
    • Hanging out with my family and friends

    • My 20 minute nap
    • Making someone smile
    • City and Colour blaring out of the car speakers
    • Working out – nothing like a run and body pump
  1. What’s the hardest lesson you’ve learned?
    • You can’t trust everyone, even the ones you love the hardest.
  1. Who inspires you to be better?
    • My wife, my family, my friends, my students, my clients and my colleagues. I’m extremely lucky to have the best humans in my corner!
  1. What do you wish you knew more about?
    • Everything!!! I love to learn and believe that each day is a lesson, but if I had to pick one topic it would be to pursue my studies in counselling.
  1. What are you most looking forward to in the next 10 years?
    • Having two kids with my love
    • Watching my kids grow into respectful humans
    • Making memories at the cottage with my wife, family and friends
